Abstract Submission Guidelines
General Instructions:
- Registration is mandatory for all submitting authors.
- All abstracts must be submitted through official website www.YROC2024.com
- The First 50 Junior/Senior Trainees who have registered for the conference and submitted abstracts will get complementary accommodations on a shared stay basis.
- Deadline for Abstract Submission: 31st October 2023.
- Abstract Submission Fee: There is no abstract submission fee. However, the presenter has to pre-register for the conference.
Abstract Format:
- The Abstracts are invited under following categories:
- Clinical Radiation Oncology
- Radiation Physics and Biology
- Radiation therapy Technology (RTT)
- Interdisciplinary - Surgical oncology, Medical oncology, Palliative care etc.
- Oncology-nursing
- Summaries of new, ongoing and updated research (Original work, Case report, hypothesis, good quality review, preliminary data, and thesis work) will be acceptable for submission and presentation.
- Use the Font type Times new roman and Font Size 12
- An abstract may contain up to single table or single image.
- The Abstract written should not exceed 500 words.
- The abstract should contain the following subtitles.
- Title: The title of the abstract must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS except for scientific names, which should be in upper and lower-case forms and italicized.
- Aims and Objectives: State the main objective of the study.
- Materials and methods: Briefly describe the design of the study and how it was conducted.
- Results: Present the main results with appropriate statistics.
- Conclusion: Limit the conclusions to those that are directly supported by the result.
- Keywords
- Author may also submit video presentation. The video presenter should have been part of the operating / radiation planning team. The abstract should mention the details of the video, step wise description should be provided in above format.
- Video should not be more than 6 minutes.
- Step‐by‐step instructions will be provided within the submission system. Submitters can edit their abstracts until the deadline.
Abstract Selection:
- An e‐mail confirming receipt of the abstract submitted online will be sent to the presenting author within 48 hours. An abstract number will be allocated and should be mentioned for any queries relating to the submitted abstract.
- All submitted abstracts will be assessed by independent screening committee before acceptance for its category (oral or poster; video).
- Award categories:
- Best Oral paper presentation
- Best Poster presentation
- Best Video presentation
- Notification of the outcome of abstract selection will be sent by 15th December 2023.
